so i live in Queens and what i've noticed is that like most of the people here like the Yankees better than the Mets. people say that the Mets suck, but they're leading the National League..
why do you think that people like the Yankees better? |

That's so weird, Queens and Brooklyn are pretty much Mets territory. It's the yankees for me though, but I pretend to despise the Mets to piss off my brother.

I'm a Yankee fan, but I like the Mets for their "underdogness." I will go out and say they suck, but then again, I've said the Knicks suck and I love the Knicks. I always thought Brooklyn people were more inclined to Mets because the Dodger fans became Mets fans when the Dodgers moved away. Plus the Cyclones are like the minor league Mets. For the record, I was born in Manhattan, lived in Washington Heights. |
