MY LOVE LIFE SUCKS!!!!, *sigh* Options

I haven't had a girlfriend in the longest time and it totally sucks. I am 19 years old and I feel that I'm not that bad lookin of a guy. (If you wanna see my pics go to the pictures forum and click on Member pics 3.0) I dunno what it is...Its so friggnin hard to find that special someone, and if i do find that certain someone then it turns out they don't like me.

*sigh* am I to be destined to be single and sassy all my life. I want someone to hold and cuddle with as well . I would love to be able to go out places with that special someone and have them fall asleep in your arms. I read about how other people are having the best times of their lives with that special someone they like and it just eats me up inside. Why can't I be that lucky? I dunno, do I sound desperate? Who knows, all I know is that this guy has a one way ticket to Bachelorsville and it looks like he aint coming back.

Wanna hear a story? Sure you do. It's long, but I'll give you the short version: dated this guy for two and a half years. He claimed to love me, I thought he did, and I thought I loved him too. Between freshman and senior years of college, he asked me if I would consider marrying him. Well, that's a tough question, not one I was prepared to answer, but I took it into consideration. Fast forward a month and a half: I'm in the middle of one of my computer classes, talking to him online. And he broke up with me. ONLINE. yeah. Kind of threw me for a loop, and when I recovered, kinda, I got to be where you seem to be now.

The thing is, you find the best things where you least expect them. I know it sound cliche, but it's darn true. I had finally gotten to a point where I wasn't looking for a 'significant other' when I met the boy I'm dating now. I met my friend Josh for breakfast during finals week, and he brought two of his friends, people I didn't even know. And one of his friends and I hit it off amazingly well. I wasn't looking for it to happen, and I sure as heck wasn't expecting it to happen. But when the time is right, it happens.

No, you don't sound desperate. You just want to be happy, which is totally understandable. And, no, you're most defintely not a bad looking guy. Pretty darn good looking, if you want my honest opinion. You seem to be a really heartfelt person--that's an amazing quality. Any girl that dates you is going to be tres lucky. Just don't force it, you don't want to end up with some shmuck who doesn't deserve you.
