So I started excercising 4 weeks ago, I'm about to go on my fifth week of excercising on monday. I lost 10lbs in process, no I didn't starve myself or anything. I just plain excercise and ate healthy. Now I'm worried b/c I'm afraid that I'm just to stay only losing 10lbs (my goal is 20lbs). By the end of this week, I weighed myself today, and I didn't lose a lb like most ppl say that you should healthy lose 1-2lbs per week..and i didnt) I'm afraid that I'm going to stay on this pleatau. I'm losing weight for my health especially my stomach area (which i really need help on, thats why i jog for an hr, 50jumping jacks, 50bicycle sit ups, and 10reg situps) because i dont want to develop any long time diseases or difficulties. Basically I'm wondering if its okay if i didnt lose a pound this week...if i keep this excercise up, do you think i can lose 10 more to meet my goal or do i have work harder/add sthing else?

^unecessary.

I've lost 40 pounds since last year, so I def know stuff about this.
Congrats on losing 10 pounds! That's pretty awesome.

Don't fret or get discouraged if you aren't loosing any more weight. There was a good amount of time where I didn't loose any weight for like 2 weeks. And I was still eating right and exercising. Your body hits your set point and sometimes it takes a while to break out of it and keep losing more. I would encourage you to just keep doing what you're doing. Don't worry, this is normal, just keep working hard, and if you want to you can keep adding more excercises to your workout. My workout progressively became harder over the months, and my jog time became longer and my workouts more intense. Also, around the 4th month I started weight training for my legs and arms, and that def made the difference and I dropped a lot more body fat that way when I added it with the cardio.
Don't be afraid to mix up your workout with other activities or workout really hard some days, and then have light exercise days.

Also, have you been eating right? It helped me writing out a food journal. Keeping track what I ate every day helped me for the week, and kinda brought me to a reality check. So you might think you've been eating fine, but if you look back in your journal you might see that you snuck in some chips here and there or forgot to excercise for 2 days or something. It's just good to have the journal, I've kept one since March i believe.

Don't worry, you are doing fine..just keep working hard!
Good luck!
