dont get me wrong i like most of m night's movies beacuse of their twists like the village and sixth sense, but this was his worst movie. like i like the story and everything but like the movie just lagged, it wasnt good. but mostlikely i will still see his next movie. but this one wasnt one of his best

dont get me wrong i like most of m night's movies beacuse of their twists like the village and sixth sense, but this was his worst movie. like i like the story and everything but like the movie just lagged, it wasnt good. but mostlikely i will still see his next movie. but this one wasnt one of his best Agreed. I was expecting a twist at the end as well and was very disappointed. And the whole moral of the story about everyone having a purpose and all is nice but I don't think it was executed well. At least the characters were interesting. That's the only thing I enjoyed about this movie. |

Agreed. I was expecting a twist at the end as well and was very disappointed. And the whole moral of the story about everyone having a purpose and all is nice but I don't think it was executed well. I heard that Shyamalan wrote Giamatti's character for him alone. He barely practiced (if anything) before they shot the scenes. Eep. I guess that's sort of unrelated. It just reminded me of that when you mentioned the characters. ![]() Yeah, I can believe that. The role seemed perfect for him, he played it well. I found the Asian mother and daughter relationship amusing. I'm sure there's a few of us here who can relate or have seen Asian families like that. ![]() |
