Hmmmm... I am aware I'm probably an old fogie in comparison to the rest of the members here and most of you won't have the slightest clue what to tell me so eh, I guess I'll just be sharing...

I HAVE THE HOTS FOR MY BOSS. Absolute hottie, probably a lot older than me, maybe in his upper 20's, but that's within my range! Think Ben Affleck. Hunky, fit, great teeth, and a goofy yet charming personality. Gotta love older men.

Anyhow, I've been working at this IT firm as an intern for about 2 months now but it was only meant to be temporary to fulfill a school requirement. But I had been crushing on him since the first day I. Anyhow, today was suppossed to be my last day, and I've hardly talked to him at all except this one time he was telling me about some Asian woman he had dated in the past whose family ran this sub place... anywho, he calls me into his office this morning as I'm coming in for a chat. This was definately the 2nd time he's mentioned dating an Asian woman, this time however, he mentions she's filipino. And he proceeds to ask me which part I'm from and whatnot. Next thing I know, we're having this 30 minute conversation about travel, and Dave & Busters, and casinos. Then he offers me a permanent position with the company saying that they'd love to keep me around and that I've been helpful and whatnot. And he winks at me. *swoon*

I dunno, maybe I'm reading him wrong, I'm usually very bad at reading men anyway, but could he be interested? I mean, why all the talk about Asian women? And the immediate job offer was unexpected.

It would suck to leave now, especially since something *may* spark, who knows. But honestly, I didn't even like this job that much so I don't know if I would want to return. Haha, it's not even that serious. I'm probably not coming back. And it's not like these romances work within the office anyhow. Maybe I'll just keep in touch after I leave.

But still, my boss is hot.

So uhhh... to promote interaction in this thread, do any of you have stories to share about having the hots for your boss... or someone you work with?

Look, you can continue to work there, but I wouldn't date your boss if you were going to do that... Ugh, it makes things so bad. I work at this company called Eworks, and my boss consistantly does stupid shit. I'm friends with him, and he's the ben affleck type too. Girls seem to come in and he notices that they are attracted to him, and before long they ask him if he wants to hang out or come over to their house... eventually they get into a relationship, and the atmoshpere at work becomes sour... they expect him to treat them ifferent at work just becuase they are his girlfriend, but he doesn't...they always feel like he's being a jerk, and when they breka up he has to fire them becuase they are such bitchs afterward

REASONS YOU SHOULDN'T:

-It's unporofessoinal
-It doesn't create a good work atmosphere.
-You may begin to expect favoritism in certain areas of the work place. Other employee's will deffinitly notice it, and believe me... they will be jealous. Look, the favoritism has already started. he gave you the job, and winked at you...
-If you guys break up then you will be walking on egg shells, and he may fire you.
-People at work may call you a whore becuase they will feel like you are only getting things, because yu could be "sleeping with the boss"...

I have seen all of this happen... It's really bad. I would suggest that if you want the job you take it but do not date him. If you do watn to date him then I think you should leave the job or possibly transfer to another job within the company (so he's not your boss), and ask him out to lunch or something.
