Okay, so I've been going out with a guy that I've been pretty good friends with for almost a year, and I've basically liked him since then. We just started going out with eachother last week, and we've kissed/made-out, whatever.

So, I personally like him A LOT, and as I said, have for a long time. How do I tell him that I want something more than just a summer fling without pressuring him, in case he thinks of us just a summer thing? He asked me out and everything, I'm just wondering how to take it past just a summer thing. _unsure.gif

EDIT// We go to the same school & we have pretty much all the same friends, if that changes anything.

Alright, I'll tell you what to do, but pull it off in your own way. I don't know your boyfriend like you do so I could never tell you exactly what to say....

Get him on a free day. One where you two are just enjoying eachother, and wait till you're haveing on of those conversations where it's just you and him. Make sure you just stay comfortable the whole day... seriously, jsut ave fun with him the whole day. When that period comes.. start telling him how you feel.

Act like you really want to tell him something (becuase you do), and that you are scared to tell him (becuase you are)... Then after he bugs you a little bit tell him what youare afraid of... Tell him you really like him alot, that you are afraid that this is just a summer fling, and becuase the summer is comming to an end that you are sad becuase you're going to miss him.

You sound like you want me to give you something to say to him that won't let him know that you care so that he won't be pressured by the truth... Um.... that's not going to happen... either way you have to let him know that you care, becuase thats the truth.
