Honestly now. Do you think it makes createBlog more interesting and entertaining? If not, what do you think should be done about it? And if you have any other comments, do share.

I ABSOLUTELY agree with mona that spamfests =/= interesting drama. it is just a bunch of losers, and they are the SAME losers time and again. And frankly, i wish they would go away. Once is funny, twice is rebellious, Three times is a pain in the f**king ass.
Now, i have NO problems with spam in individual threads, such as the STD thread last night, because it doesnt cause problems for other people. It doesnt shove other threads down the boards, it doesnt create a bunch of hassle for the mods (which inevitabley spirals into them being either too lenient or unreasonably strict), and if the thread serves no real purpose in the first place (again, STD thread), then it might as well just be fun. My single happiest memory on cb (The Fab Five) was a result of one such thread. We only get problems when spam threads multiply. So, in short, spam in some threads, sure, why not, will happen, and can happen. 398470524572 0487 moronic spam threads abou tpeople eating assoreted animals, PATHETIC. |
