I don't know if this is just me, but I don't like it when people say stuff like "Oh I feel so bad for him/her" or "Oh, I feel so sorry for that person" Like, if I was walking down the street with some people, and we see a homeless guy, they would probably say something such as "Aww, I feel bad for him/her" But then seconds later, they would forget the whole thing. I mean, if someone really did feel pity on someone else, shouldn't they try to do something about it? Like the situation of the homeless guy, If they really felt sorry for them, they would try to help out instead of just saying how they have pity on them. I know that I'm being really hypocrital right now, cause I know that I've said how I felt bad for someone.
To make this not sound like I'm just going around complaining, I guess what I'm asking is, Is this just me? Or do some of you feel the same way?

One time my mom gave poptarts and a drink to this guy and this woman ran out of the store and was like "NOO! DONT YOU GIVE THAT THEIF A THING!" Ha, turns out, the cops followed him one day and he lived in a nice house and everything. He just bummed off of people for a living.
But, yeah. I don't like fake concern. |
