Dude, i'm really skinny.
How do i gain weight? I tried eating a lot .. and i dont even gain weight. i got tired of it. My arms are like twigs. Whenever i go out, i feel very self-conscious about my weight. I dont look meaty at all, just a piece of twig. therefore, i wear clothes tha doesnt show any of my body parts. i dont even wear short clothes anymore. the first thing that people think is that i'm skinny with chubby cheeks. and my friends said, " dam steven, you're skinny!" 123 LBS 15 years old. 5'8 |

I'm a 'recovering' anoretic (70lb) trying to gain weight myself.
I can totally relate to what you're saying. Kathleen. Please shut up. To be underweight doesn't neccesarily mean 'you have an eating disorder'. Some people are just like that. No matter how much they scoff themselfs with food. This is why I'm having a hard time trying to gain, myself. Please ignore the 'exercise is the way to go' comments. No it isn't. Here are a few ways I learnt to eat whilst in hospital [urgh, yes. lol] - Eat regularly! you must have 3 large meals a day. - have little snacks in between meal times. - If you drink skimmed, or semi-skimmed milk. Stop. Change to WHOLE milk. - Keep away from the non caloric beverages. (Swap your tea, coffee, or diet soda for milk, 'shakes, Smoothies...etc.) - Keep eating bread, and or toast. But add extras, like peanut butter. My breakfasts at hospital concisted: - 1 of these rather disgusting milkshakes. - 1 cup of fresh orange juice. - 1 bowl of cereal (with whole milk) - Fruit. - And toast, with peanut butter, or jelly. Pretty filling, eh? Surprised I didn't turn out bulimic. |
