Yeah, yeah, this is old news, but we need some current events topics about it.
No debating here, please. If you want to debate, there's a topic about stem-cell research in there. But feel free to express your opinions. Here's the article. If you want some more information on this, here's a good link. I, personally, wasn't surprised that President Bush vetoed this bill. But it is sad that he is willing to choose the 'life' of a frozen embryo over that of an Alzheimer's patient or a diabetic. Instead of throwing away these embryos, I say put them to use to benefit the greater good of humanity. |

^ Jeebus no. He's still our president, and he did win the election. Just let him finish his presidency terms.

I heard during my ELA class, that Bush's cousin or something, the govenor of Florida, if i'm not wrong was going to run for President. So if he wins the election, it's gonna be like 12 years under the Bush family control. There was also a discussion on how the way Bush is running this country is similar to how a communist country would run. I think Im totally going off topic. |

Actually, the governor of Florida is Bush's younger brother. Of course, he's all for the same things his brother and father are for. Personally, if another Bush ever wins the presidential election, my butt's going to Canada. Well... errr. I dont know about him running the country like a communist country, but our country has definately gone down hill over the past 6 years. |
