So I really really like this guy. like no one could understand. we went out for a while before but I messed up. and I realize now how stupid I was. but he likes this other girl a lot;;he says he loves herr, she's one of his ex girls. I know he likes me but not a lot. so what should I do?

Tell him that you like him and you understand that you messed up. But also you need to accept that if he doesn't like you at all and doesn't want to get back with you because of your mistake. Then you need to tell him that its fine, and forgive yourself for what you did and move on.
