so i was just wondering what everyone around here likes to use in their graphics and where ya'll get your pictures.
models? actors/actresses? movies/tv? bands? other? my opinion: i love doing bands/singers but i always love and admire other people's model and high fashion blends/icons. |

High resolution celebrity snapshots always make a great vexel. I'm obsessed with high quality images. I get them from some weird Dutch forum. My favourite actresses include Jessica Alba, Elisha Cuthbert, Alexis Bledel, Angelina Jolie, Kristin Kreuk and Mischa Barton.
Scans from fashion magazines are good, too, but more so for blends(which I haven't made in over year) and icons. Sometimes they're good for vexels, too, but most of the time the lighting's too extreme to have good shading. Yeah, anything other than that is worthless to me. |
