Has anyone else seen this movie? I've watched it at least 50 times. And I love it. It really makes you think. Your thoughts on it?

ok I can see I'm the only one who is going to say something negative about it . I saw the movie awhile ago and I wasn't that much inpressed. A lot of people found it hard to understand but I got it in the first shot . It was a deja vu in way for me ...has anyone seen the Butterfly effect yeah spoiler time .. the ending is sorta similar by them both figuring out they have to die to set things right .. but for different reasons . I found it an ok movie but nothing special. thats my 2 cents worth.

Refer to my my top ten list of worst movies ever made. Ahem, but what I wanted to say... I really don't believe that both characters had to "die" to "set things right." I would say that the character of Donnie Darko had completed his mission in setting things right, his death could very well have been a mistake. I don't see the Jesus model in Donnie Darko, I think Richard Kelly is smarter than that. Or, at least, I would hope he is.  But, yeah. What Kathleen said: Honestly comparing The Butterfly Effect to Donnie Darko? I mean, you could... but the division is so strong I don't think I could bare. |
