The Devil Wears Prada
I ABSOLUTELY want to watch this movie. I love the book, but I'm not much of a fan of Anne Hathaway. It's supposed to be released on June 30. I can't wait

Oh my God. This movie ROCKS. I was totally expecting it to be a disappointment, as many book-turned-movies turn out to be, but this was not the case. The movie owned the book so many times.
The movie left me feeling completely satisfied, and added so many dimensions to the story. Quite a few things were changed around in the movie, but it all works. Miranda has different sides to her, even some character growth, and the twist with Emily's accident and Nigel...it added a lot of well-needed excitement. If you're addicted to fashion like I am, you're going to love the clothes in the movie and the constant fashion-related name dropping. Anne Hathaway looks so incredibly gorgeous in the clothes. And the shoes! Oh, the shoes. This is a definite must-see, especially those of you that have read the book! |
