I have a puppy, about a year old now.
He's a Jack Russell Terrier, so he's super energetic. He's neutered, but still very energetic. Because of that, he is not allowed inside the house. He's in the backyard and sleeps in the garage. But JRT's need constant attention, and it's hard for me to have to go outside just to play with him. I love him very much and I don't want to send him to another home. If I can train him to be calm and stuff, maybe my parents will let him in the house. How can I convince them? |

Do you walk him?? Try walking or rather running with him everyday. Let him use his energy.
I agree with training him. Try telling him no whenever he's doing something wrong. Most of this is coming from books I've read, but with my dog some of it works. I have a hyper little chihuahua mixed. Or deal with it and play with him outside. You don't have any shaded areas in your backyard?? |
