do you believe in horoscopes? Options

do you think that they're true to some extent? when you read them (if you do) are things true, do they hit you really hard?

i dont know sometimes when i read my horoscope its like wow, thats true. or some things, i dont want to believe, (particularly when its a bad thing).

just wanted to know what you guys thought about it.

I saw a documentary on stuff like this. They said that all horoscopes describe people in a certain way. Let's take this friendship horoscope of the star sign "Leo"

The Lion can never be accused of hiding behind their mane. They're happiest when people surround them, especially as they're centre of attention.

Firstly, iVillage is "the website of women". And at least from what I've noticed, women who try to look up their "friendship horoscope" in the first place must be pretty self-absorbed. So, of course they're happiest when they're with other people. And of course they're happy if they're the centre of attention. So any woman could fit this description.

Leo has loads of friends. After all, anyone who thinks so highly of them selves must have something good to offer. The Lion makes a great friend. They can be as playful as a kitten and are always ready to spread their sunshine around. Beware of their competitive side. As your friend, Leo wants to be proud of you and will do everything in their power to ensure your success – as long as you don't outshine them.

Anyone reading this will say, "Oh, that's me" because that's what they want to think. You can easily interpret the words in your own way and never cease to amaze yourself. If you think positively of yourself (you pretty much have to to believe in friendship horoscopes), you'll agree with this paragraph.

While you're the underdog, you'll have a loyal friend. Everyone can be friends with a Leo. They don't really discriminate, preferring to have a big mix of people to play with. Leo always wants the best and might take you out for fancy dinners. Don't worry if you can't afford it though - the generous Lion is always willing to chip in. Make sure you remind them again and again how grateful you are for their help. A friend who is not appreciative of the Leo's charms and generosity now may not get the chance to show it later.

What kind of person is going to call themselves "discriminate" and "not generous". So .. I think you get the point.
