My bf and I have been together a little more than 6 months and we still have a problem that's been with us from the start. My bf constantly questions me on how I feel and wants me to share my feelings to him. The questions are more related to the heart (no...not the thing that keeps humans alive), and I have a hard time telling him how I feel.
He expects that it'll be easy for me since I'm a girl and stereotypically, girls tend to spill out everything on how they feel. Everytime it comes to this conversation, I end up hurting him since I can't-...more like I don't know how to tell him how I feel. Therefore, I feel like a selfish gf because I can't answer and tell him what he wants to hear. ![]() I don't know what to do, I don't know how to share my feelings to anyone. I was taught to keep things to yourself as a young kid. |

Just look him in the eye and assure him you love him. Apparently since he's asking you so many questions he's having some insecurities. Make him feel secure by giving a solid answer like, "I love you no matter what." "Don't worry." Or ask him the same questions back and see how he responds. If he's put in a situation where it's hard for him to respond, he might know what kind of situation he's putting you in and stop. Tell him you're not the "stereotypical girl". He should understand if you're not comfortable spilling your thoughts.
