Noobs who act like idiots.

Uh..people like you, no offense. And that's like, saying the majority too, because everyone's always hating the "noobs." Too much "I've been here longer than you" kinda deal. Or "how much have you posted for you to judge that?" They couldn't have just spoke their minds or read the threads before they made a username or had a different username? Wayy judgemental.

And you know, if you all insist on making useless posts, could you actually attempt to include some sort of content? Justin and I, for example, can make topics that just sort of ramble on about nothing, but in the end, we've touched enough subjects that a discussion (or at least individual comments) can be made off of it.

This is what you prefer, but there are others that prefer threads that do not involve so much as content, but just having fun. If having fun means having content to you, then find or make threads that meet your requirements, right? It's not that hard.

Oh yeah and maybe it's just me, but I don't see how spam is so annoying. If it's spam then it's obviously short and if it's short, you'll get over it.

Spam is against CB's rules; it shouldn't even be such a big issue as it is right now. I don't want to read a thread that has some value or interest only to see people respond, "LOL, I know rite?" or, "I think that too." People access forums to hear other opinions or read something they aren't normally exposed to. Createblog is a wonderful place full of diverse people; when you create one hundred spam topics that focus on a specific group of people, which doesn't concern the majority of CB, then it gets annoying.

Something that is also annoying is that everyone thinks they have a RIGHT to post these kinds of threads, or they complain that it's not their fault, it's CB's mods' fault. Createblog's mods do the best they can do. You don't have any rights here at CB. CB works hard FOR you so you can express yourself and meet people. Createblog HAS the right to close whatever thread they want. What you do here is a privilege and I think a lot of people forget that.

In addressing shorter posts, I have no problem what-so-ever with short posts. There is a difference between something a mass amount of people will find humorous or interesting and something that hardly anyone, except a few select people, will understand. If you don't want to post a huge essay every time you post that's fine, but don't act like a moron in your posts or towards other people.
