Space Shuttles amaze me. They're 40 year old hardware, yet they outperform everything the world puts out. Not even the Buran could match it. Discovery launch was a success, but it seems like no one cares. It's probably the largest rocket you'll see go up today, yet it seems to me that more people are excited to see the fireworks show.

I've never seen one in person, but I love them. I've always had a fascination with space. My dad grew up in Tampa Florida (back when you could actually look around without a concrete building right in front of you) and he used to watch every launch from his yard.
