I had done abstract, portrait, pottery, crafts, and ummmmm ... oil pastel ;]
I really like doing abstract witth a combination of portrait. Tutorial QUOTE First of all, you find a medium picture of a gray person. Cut it into multiple equal squares *(medium) Get a blank paper. (construction paper) Cut it into a multiple equal squares *(BIG SIZE) Use a "drawing pencil" For every "picture square", draw a matching picture on a "blank square". Color, shade, fade, blur, smear, swift, and contrast. After you're done, get 2 black construction paper. (Blank, recommended) You connect the entire “picture square" on the blank construction paper Leave about 2 inch gap for every side. Do the same thing with the "color box". Compare both of the artwork. Fix and shade to improve the image. ---------- Seriously, it’s actually fun. The main point is to duplicate a medium picture with an enlarged-size (gray) picture. You do whatever you can to improve the looks of the image. You can even be creative with shading, smearing, and sifting of a duplicated picture. |

Abstract
Color Pencil Sketches Oil Pastels Watercolor Oil Paintings Acrylic Photography Graphic Design In that order too. I'd have to say that watercolors are the hardest because of the water. Oil paintings (of landscapes) are easy after that, because you can always cover up your mistakes with paint. |
