hmm. i've taken several tutorials on image mapping, and i've gotten to the part where i edit it in microsoft word, then i go to xanga and use the look and feel page to preview the code. when i go to the page, it just has that little red box at the top of the corner in replace of the image, but i can still click on the link.
 do i have to upload the picture itself and put it sopmewhere in the code?  thanks in advance

Make sure your image URL is good. Like, upload it at imageshack.us and then put that in. Sometimes the image map takes the image that is saved to like, your desktop or whatever and it isn't a good link.
I think thats what you were getting at? |
