Who's your favorite director(s)?
I'd have to say my #1 is probably Wes Anderson (The Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket). Actually, definitely. There's a couple close runner-ups. |

My favorite director is David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Muholland Dr.). I tend to enjoy directors who can fit into auteur theory, I found their work more interesting as a result. I like Mr. Lynch's common themes and visual style. As David Lynch is a very strong auteur, I find him, easily, very appealing.
Oh, Sammi! I would definately say that Wes Anderson is a modern auteur. The guy has a very defined style, and easily repeating themes. I like him alot. ![]() And, as you know, my favorite Anderson is still The Royale Tenenbaums. |

Ditto - Almost completely, but add Joss Whedon to that. :D |
