I was just playing with gradients in Illustrator. This didn't take too long but I think it came out decent.

I like it cuz the shapes are cool and the picture you chose was interesting =] You did a pretty good job with it, somewhat cliche but nicely done none the less. I would add a few more layers to the hair, shine, streaks, randoms strands and such. I really like it, nice job <3
