I have a puppy, about a year old now.
He's a Jack Russell Terrier, so he's super energetic. He's neutered, but still very energetic. Because of that, he is not allowed inside the house. He's in the backyard and sleeps in the garage. But JRT's need constant attention, and it's hard for me to have to go outside just to play with him. I love him very much and I don't want to send him to another home. If I can train him to be calm and stuff, maybe my parents will let him in the house. How can I convince them? |

I have a chihuahua. She's a crazy little one. Your story reminds me of here... she's not really allowed in the house either, and chihuahua's are indoor dogs!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure you're parents will let him inside if you were to train him. Tell your parents how you feel, and that you want him to be trained so he can stay. Just talk to them about it, I'm sure they'll understand how you feel and all that. |
