We've all been talking about what's your favorite or the worst anime/manga. But why do you like anime/manga? Or possibly...hate it?
The reason I like anime is because of the art most of the time. The eyes are what catch me. The other thing that makes me like anime is because of the story line. It is complex and the characters most of the time develop along with the plot.

I love the art. Whenever I compare it to American cartoons, the American cartoons look disgusting. I hate how CN and Nickelodeon choose to take on gross-looking shows. I mean, remember the close-ups in Ren & Stimpy? Yeah, they were a BIT too close. Somehow, the cultural differences shine through, too. I find it interesting to watch anime, because in a way it's like getting an inside look into Japanese culture. |
