when save on imageready, quality is bad |

When I try to save this picture to a .gif from a .psd (photoshop) it becomes all grainy, but the one I have saved as a .png is crystal clear. should i change the resolution or something so when i save it to a .gif it doesnt become grainy?

Don't optimize it.
 The more optimized it is, the grainier it will be. Less colours. You don't have a save for web feature? Because that gives you tons of control over the animation in Elements... And you can see how it looks.
