do you every feel like your friends have more money or are prettier than you? i do sometimes. i almost always feel pretty and fortunate when i'm at my house or with family. i think it might be because they love me and i don't have to impress them. but when i'm with some of my friends i suddenly feel like i'm not so pretty. i go shopping with them, to movies, or over to their houses (which are of course huge) and i feel like they have so much more than i do. they shop at abercrombie and lacoste just because they can. sometimes i get sick of it. even though they're my really good friends, i sometimes feel like i'm not rich or pretty enough to hang out with them. everyone says that they'll mature in a year or two and everything will be fine. i really hope so.
has anybody felt like this? what happened? |

One friend in particular. She's absolutely gorgeous, amazingly hard-working, intelligent, friendly and very outspoken. I would hate her if she wasn't such an awesome person.
I don't know, I got to know her a lot better. Beneath all the surface stuff that people see, she's just like any of us. Just as insecure, just as goofy, has just as many problems. I can't hate her. In fact, I love her. I still wish I was like her, though. |
