I just got a used laptop off of ebay and everything works great.... except for internet explorer. Every website I go to, the background color/background image won't show. I've gone through all the internet options (as well as my friend, and my dad), but we can't seem to get it to work. I can change the set background color, but I can't get it to "un-set"....

yea, you need to reinstall your computer.
because you don't know what was installed on the computer or stuff. |
