Dimly Lit Light Options

[Dark's Angel]

I experimented with some old english here...just to see how it would affect the writing and the reading.

Thou's light is diminished
It shines dimly through the thick fog.
It carries me across the way,
Safe from harm,
Away from it all.
Thou's heart is lifeless,
I wonder why as I embrace you.
My touch awakens nothing in thee,
Your eyes are cold and distant.
My heart weeps as I feel it begin to break,
Slowly it crumbles at my feet.
The darkness caresses my raven hair,
I tread lightly through the thick fog,
Holding my knife close to my heart.
I have my love in my arms,
Whispering softly in his ear.
Thou has broken my heart,
Now I shall break yours.
