does everything happen for a reason? Options

prompted by a sex and the city rerun and the crazy day I had:

I was suppose to go on a school trip to Boston today and see my crush who I havn't seen in like a yr and a half. We had a meeting last night getting all pumped up for it...and then this moring they cancelled it because of a blizzard that was suppose to hit sunday when we would be coming back.

Naturally i was really depressed...but then I called to apologize to him about not being able to hang out...my first time calling him. it was a great convo, I felt like we took a huge step forward. And I feel more comfortable about seeing him over spring break now. Of course im still sad that i won't see him for a while, but then i thought maybe i wasn't ready? aka, maybe this happened for a reason?

My entire life.... everything I have ever done... It's all happened for a reason, and, although its extemely difficult at times, I have been thankful for everything... God has a master plan. Only he knows everything, and does everything becuase he loves us. Even the horrible things.

I'll tell you a good story... although it's not one of the significant things, it is a good story.

I recently moved to a poor neighborhood... My father durring the winter decided to let some kids into our house so they could warm up because it was so cold outside. I'm a huge xbox fan
and at the time I had about 4000-5000 dollars worth of xbox merchendice. These poor freezing children caught one glimpse of my beutiful xbox and all of its glory, and decided to steeal all of it... I was furious... It was my collection. My hobby... my beutiful collection and all of its glory taken... over 50 xbox games (includeing steel battalion, a rare 200$ mech simulation game), 2 xbox game systems, 6 controllers, 2 dvd remotes... and high deffinition cables taken... That same week I recieved 2 speeding tickets (both of them i was going 20mph over the speed limit.)... I was hurting, but turned out that the insurance company decided to pay for all the games i had lost... i recived a check for $3600 (a 500 dollar deductable) for all the items they had stolen and was able to pay for all the speeding tickets ($1000 with lawyer)... I was so happy... not only that, but it relieved me of my major addiction to video games. :)

Also, Holly has been huge proof in my life that everything happens for a reason... even if we don't stay together forever... We both will gain so much from our relationship. I love you sunshine... :)... oops, i forgot... you like the other face... :]
