i like this girl but we really don't know each other well. i told her how i felt about her she didn't say anything she just smiled and walked off. this has really confused me, does she think im joking or something

When you said you don't know her that well, exactly where do you two stand? Classmates, friends of a friends or simply someone who was there at this gathering once and that was the only time you talked to her? I'm just curious.
But either way, if she just walked away, there can be so many possibilities about what was going through her mind, it's hard to find out exactly what's going on. Unless you ask her yourself, but I woulnd't really recommend that since you might scare her before you even get to know her better. That's when a friend comes in handy, that is, if you trust them not to screw things up. If you know someone whos also friends with her, you can always try approaching her causally and see how she reacts or if she will bring the subject matter up. At this point, you can't really do anything. Even after dozens of surveys of a girl's opinion of what just happened, you can never narrow down to the reason for her actions. Even if it's close, there's still many possibilities, especially when we are all different =] Good luck. |
