The reason being is that and uncircumsized penis has a higher likelihood of getting infections. There's like this nasty waxy stuff that builds up underneath the foreskin and if a guy doesn't clean his cock properly it will get infected and stuff. I heard usually boys are cirumsized as babies because it's less painful?? Blegh who r guys to complain about pain girls go through it all the time. In a lot of poor countries they cut off a girls clitorous and sew up her vagina, which i think is a HELL of lot more painful.
