Now, when I say environmentalism, I'm dealing with the rainforest and what not. How do you guys feel about it? What's your stance on this topic?

but what exactly are the effects of global warming? there is no concrete proof for the existance of global warming. There's definitely proof that the surface temperatures have risen since the beginning of industrialization. The debate is over the cause—natural or human-influenced. A lot of evidence does point to the influence of humans, however. As I noted before, even if global warming is not caused by humans, it's not a bad thing to cut pollution, find alternative energy sources (we'll need them someday, no matter what), ensure a clean water supply, and so forth. |
