Suppose whenever you felt pain, the pain would go to someone you loved instead of you. Would you want that to happen, or would you rather feel it yourself?

I would rather feel the pain myself, let it be physical or mental. If I truly loved someone, I don't see why I would want him/her to experience my pain rather than for me to feel it myself.
