Alright! So, who has seen Twin Peaks?
Anyone? I had wanted to see the series for a very long time as I am a big fan of David lynch, and I just recently watched it in its entirety. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and consider it one of the best, if not the best, television series of all time. ![]() [I have a feeling this thread isn't going to get much traffic. ![]() |

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
Um.. I love it. ![]() I even liked "Fire Walk With Me" (the soundtrack, by the way is amazing). I rate this among one of my favorite series, ever. Hated the way it abruptly ended though. Billy Zane = LOVE Oh and of course, seeing David Duchovney (sp.?) as a transvestite was a real treat. ![]() |

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT Yay! I'm not alone! If there was one person I could count on! ![]() Yeah, it's great. The music is indeed wonderful. I love Angelo Badalementi. And, when he works with Lynch, as he has so much (ever since Blue Velvet in 1986), it's always great. He really helped to give Twin Peaks that atmosphere it held so strongly, even into the later half of the second season. For me, Twin Peaks reminded me so much of Blue Velvet, especially because of Kyle Mclachlan. I guess I really like Lynch mysteries. I enjoyed Fire Walk With Me, as well. Despite it being much different. Far darker than the series. Yeah, the second season ending was a bit of a disapointment. But, given the network, ABC was very relunctant to give Lynch as much creative control as he had hoped for, and no where near the kind he got in the first season. For example, the revealing of Laura Palmer's killer in the second season was against Lynch's wishes. Knowing that the network wanted to shut them down, Lynch decided he would make the second season finale a big middle finger to ABC. But, even then, no one was positive that Twin Peaks wouldn't return for the third season. Unfortunately, it never did. |
