Has racism ever had an effect on you?
Not just being called racist slurs, but actually being limited in some way because of race. Something like this happend to my parents a few years ago. I know my parents went to some foriegn store our of the U.S. (Rome I think it was) and stood in line to buy some things. When it was my parent's turn, the cashier ignored then but, continued serving people that were even behind my parents. My parents didn't get helped until my father complained. It was supposedly because my parents are Filipino. |

Yea, I understand. Sometimes you just cant help it. The place I work at makes me have a sterotype against mexican americans. I work with more then 20 of them and not a single one can speak clear english. I mean the only reason it makes me angry is, you are in this country trying to make a better life for yourself, why not work a little to learn the language.
