Has racism ever had an effect on you?
Not just being called racist slurs, but actually being limited in some way because of race. Something like this happend to my parents a few years ago. I know my parents went to some foriegn store our of the U.S. (Rome I think it was) and stood in line to buy some things. When it was my parent's turn, the cashier ignored then but, continued serving people that were even behind my parents. My parents didn't get helped until my father complained. It was supposedly because my parents are Filipino. |

Yes, it has. Well I'm 25% chinese; when I was little was mistreated by teachers who were racist to asians. She called me a chinx. I didn't know what it meant until later.. from then on i didn't want to be asian I felt really bad. Now I just look really filipino, because after thinking it was bad to be asian every day i kept practicing to open my eyes as big as i can. But now I miss my asian eyes.
 Pretty weird huh, when we're all young we do stuff we wouldn't want to do when we grow up.
