To me, it all comes down to fear. Shame? Fear of shame. Jealousy? Fear of others being better than you. Pressure? Fear of peers (of peer pressure), feer of stress. The devil..haha, fear of the devil! Or seriously, fear of hell, fear of getting jinxed?
Fear of honesty. Fear of consequences. Being truthful is a lot harder, therefore people fear that it is hard. Fear of getting judged..that's a really big one. QUOTE but there are times when you lie just to protect someone Fear of hurting someone. |
