I don't understand. I have friends that say they are depressed. They have no reason to. Maybe if they were starving to death and lived in Africa, maybe they might have a reason, but they live a normal American suburban life. It's ridiculous. Does anyone agree with me, or no?

lots of my friends go through problems, the usual like stress, boy/girl problems, etc. and i guess they get depressed for a while cuz of different problems that pop up, but they're never (i think) truly clinically depressed. they get better eventually, just by themselves. it's normal
