alright, i know it's been awhile since i've been here but i need some major help. well, it's not MY computer, but it's my sister's computer and it wont even turn on. i SWEAR it was working earlier that day, but now it just wont turn on. it's not like the button wont work but here's what i see when i turn it on
Internal LAN MAC Address: 00-11-5B-02-6f-FD Hardware Monitor... ______________________________________ CPU Temp: 36C/96F CPU Fan:4115 RPM System Fan Speed: 0 RPM CPU Vcore: 1.58V +3.3V: 3.23V +5(V): 5.18V +12(V): 12.09V Verifying DMI Pool Data............. Boot from CD: Boot from CD: A disk read error occurred Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart __ i don't even know what any of that means! lolss have any of you all encountered this problem? there's nothing in the cd drives or anything like that and when i press ctrl+alt+del it just comes right back to that screen. i just don't understand. it was working like an hour before that. some help would be appreciated. ;D haha, now i feel weetahdid =] |

umm, have you tried going into CMOS and rearranging the boot sequence to hard drive first? and completely remove the cdrom/dvdrom drive from the list?
