ok so i like this guy and he's one my best friend but he has no idea i like him. my best friend says i should tell him. and other people say they think he likes me back. but im not sure. i wanna go for it but im afraid of rejection and getting my heart broken. plus, i dont want to ruin our friendship for telling him.

i really like him....

but i dont kno what to do..

it's sad to day this but the closer you are as best/good friends with him, the less of a chance you actually have of being with him romantically. naturally, the more he sees you as a friend, the more cemented the relationship is between you and him is formed.

unless there's the rare case of him being close to you and forward as friends because he had an interest in you. but don't go and start thinking that's the case.

chances are, he probably only sees you as a friend and will. most relationships start with a small bond of friendship and then straight to romantic feelings but one that bursts from a deep friendship is hard to sustain, if not begin, in the first place.

chances are, if he doesn't see you that way, he'll use the "i don't want to ruin our friendship" line.
