Oh honestly, this is actually an acceptable branch from the original topic, and you're hardly one to talk about staying on topic, with that crap in anonymous shoutouts right now.

Of course I can only speak for myself. You can only speak for yourself as well. I really don't think the majority of people are going to bother looking up online trailers, to be honest. I likely am in the minority a far as my tv watching goes, but that menas little. You can't disregard a particular demographic just because they're not the majority. Thus, to make the posters an effective form of advertisement, it should at least put forth some information that's actually relevant. Obviously alternative forms of advertisment contain more information, but they're less accessible, and their existance shouldn't make the more traditional posters more obsolete. You're in a minority, only able to speak for yourself as well for being someone who'd actually bother to look up a trailer for every shitty looking movie he can.
