Guys it's not going to be the last movie... Generally, a trilogy is only three movies. It's called The Last Stand, which signifies that it is the final film—a point even Brett Ratner makes.[1] There might be more X-Men films, but this was supposed to be the end of a trilogy—and for being the final movie in a trilogy it left a bunch of loose ends. |

Its not going to be the last X-Men movie. I don't know how they plan on making a fourth one with 3 main characters dead, but this article tells a little more: http://www.themovieblog.com/archives/2006/...rms_xmen_4.html How about when Magneto moved the chess piece at the end??? Hehehhee. I think they are trying to say the "permanent" cure was only temporary, so they can try to make a fourth movie. |

It's like the Star Wars movies. Episode III wasn't the last film, but it was the last film of the prequel trilogy, which is why the plot of the prequel trilogy is neatly wrapped up in Episode III. X-Men III is the last film of this X-Men trilogy, so it should wrap up the plot of the trilogy, regardless of whether more X-Men films are made. |
