just wondering.. for prom.. the guy gets the girl a corsage.. is the girl suppose to get the guy a flower.. or does the get get both the corsage (for date) and the flower (for himself)..?
i thought the guy was suppose to get both.. so the flowers can match and stuff.. but recently.. some people told me otherwise... just wondering what the traditional way is... thanks |

umm.. I'm not completely sure. There's a name for the flower that the guy's put on their tuxes by the way, I just don't remember what it was.
Anyway, I know that some girls will buy the flower-thing and give it to the guy. I've also heard that the guy will buy it and then give it to the girl so that she could put it on his tux. I think the first makes more sense. You don't really have to worry about the flowers matching just as long as your outfits do, but I'm sure you've already discussed with your date what colors you're going use, right? I don't really care for following traditions, but if you think it's important you can always research it online. =) |
