One of my friends has the same problem w/ you.
 You could try to use a conditioner or a hair product that makes hair more straight. If it works then u will be able to leave your hair down. U could also use some hairclips. Your hair is short? Make up: Just cover your spots(if u have) so your skin is perfect. Then use a light shadow(like: pink or light blue), lipgloss(pink or without color) and that's all 4 a really natural look. Don't use dark shadows or a lipstick. Hope I helped a bit.
