DR.SEAN , i need some advice.. - quick! heres the proble.. my bf and i got into an arguement over the stupidiest misunderstanding...and we're kinda on that silent treatment kind of thing right now.. Tomorrow is his birthday should i just forget about the way he acted and proceed with his birthday surprise , or stand strong until he apologizes? or says sumthing? i'm still angry right now...but i still wanna work things out... i feel that i shouldn't just forget it JUST because it's his bday, but on the other hand.. would that make me a total b*tch for dragging the arguement... i hope you're still here Dr.Sean.. |

Well, in my opinion, I think you should carry on with the birthday surprise. But if you and him have already been in many arguments, and you always apologize, you should wait for him to apologize. I think it's best if you apologize together. Try to apologize today, if you can. Then tomorrow everything will be OK. Guys don't like girls who are stubborn. We give up quite easily if we see it's impossible or too hard to carry on with the girl. However, you should not be the only one apologizing. Guys will just think you're a person to put down. So yes, my advice is to apologize today via phone or in person. If he gets angry or yells at you, don't yell back. But if you apologize and he doesn't accept it, than don't give him the surprise. In fact, if he doesn't accept the apology for at least 3 days, leave him. Make him cry. Good luck  - Dr. Sean |
