Okay so I'm not oging thru all 600 pages to find if someone else asked this. bare with me. so okay, I'm working on a xanga skin (link) and it looks great in ie but off in ff. then if I set it correct for ff its off in ie. the annoying thing is the only difference is whether its negative or positive see here :
CODE <div style="position:absolute; margin-left: 300px; margin-top: -445px; border: 0px; width: 244px; height: 115px; background: none; overflow: auto"> for the top section aaaand CODE <div align="center" class="blogspace"> <div style=" overflow: auto; width: 425px; height: 210px; margin-top: 70px; margin-left: 285px; position:absolute;"> which controls my blogspace. and literally I mean to fix it for ff all i have to do is change the margin-left from 285px to -285 px and same for the othe rone. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried changing the position from static to absolute and it made no difference. And I'm sure its misaligned in other resolutions too. How do i make it cross res and browser friendly? |

For the resolution thing, it's a lot easier to make it work with the left alignment (the image alignment left too). Then that way you'll always have it 40px from the left or whatever. And you just use the !important tag after the Mozilla/Firefox value.
