Has racism ever had an effect on you?
Not just being called racist slurs, but actually being limited in some way because of race. Something like this happend to my parents a few years ago. I know my parents went to some foriegn store our of the U.S. (Rome I think it was) and stood in line to buy some things. When it was my parent's turn, the cashier ignored then but, continued serving people that were even behind my parents. My parents didn't get helped until my father complained. It was supposedly because my parents are Filipino. |

i usually don't have any issues with racism unless my friends are kidding around but most of my friends are asian too so were basically making fun of each other
there is one time that sticks out to me tho my sister and i went to atlanta bread company to eat and there was this girl who worked there and she took our order and my sister ordered a soup but she gave her the wrong one so my sister wanted it changed and lik two seconds after my sister gets back to our seat i see the girl and her boyfriend talking and starring at us and they pulled their eyes back and made them look "chinky" and then they both cracked up and not to be steriotypical or w/e but most asians are racist towards white people and mexicans |
