You know how it goes.

I saw you today. I saw YOU today. great smile and all. Honestly, when you walked up to me, took off your hat, messed up your hat hair, all hot from the race, voice lost, in your crew jacket, sunglasses on, and perfect smile, man....i'm pretty sure my heart skipped a beat. Something about you that I can't help but like. Maybe it's your innocence? How you are thoughtful. How you notice things, you notice details. Maybe it's the way you look at me...ah, the way you look at me does floor me. It's very piercing...your eyes, you say so much through them. The constant smiles on both our faces, my heart stirred, weak in the knees...we almost didn't know what to say. Those long conversations obviously not enough practice for that moment. I think we were just...happy. Happy to be standing there, happy to be there with you, finally. I missed you these past few weeks. I missed you too much. And seeing you, it was great...not nearly long enough for me. I'll see you soon...Hopefully next time I'll be able to actually say what I want to say lol. ok, this is getting too long.... I'm happy. I miss you. I will see you soon =) and still, even after everything, i still want you to call me. haha! To you, you.....you were there too....weren't you. |
