ok well looks like my parents want to move to houston. *i live in dallas* but like i've lived here for about 7 and a half years and im really nervous of moving there we have to moved there by july 3rd and i dont know how im going to fit in and everything my moms says if i keep a positive attitude everything will be alrite but i can't help but be negative cuz iml eaving all of my friends and memories behind here... have you ever felt this way how did it turn out?? what should i do to keep a positive attitude and how i should fit in my new school. Thanks so much

All my life, I've moved. The first time, that I can really recall from memory, was hard. I cried, tried to make the best of the time I had left with my friends, and so forth. I say, although your moving, keep in contact with the friends you have now, either through letters, calling, or IMing. Maybe even a combination of those.
![]() But in time, just expect that there's a chance you could lose touch..moving on with life. Don't worry, you'll make new friends, and come to appreciate the new place you could possibly be moving to. And it is true, IMO, that if you keep an positive attitude about things, it'll seem a little easier. Even if it's not by all that much. ![]() |
